To be honest, I didn't check myself (since, admittedly, I already had SecuROM on the computer anyway). I'm fairly certain however, that the 9 Euro 'full' Creator will have DRM. And as far as I can tell, there's not guarantee you get the full game for less - it's entirely up to the stores.

At least with the Sims2 bodyshop, you got the whole thing for free. This CC looks to me a bit like the Battlefield Booster packs, which sole existence persuaded me to not buy Battlefield itself.

Nope. It's $10 for the demo + $50 for the actual game. Unless, that is, you buy the demo from Amazon, where they will then give you $5 off Spore when it comes out.

ok, the demo is free, the Creature Creator is $10, and Spore is $50. Up there, when I said "demo" I meant the Creature Creator.

I really hope with the final game that you can choose who you want in your universe. Because i have no intention of having weird and sexual creatures that looks something like in this video.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I heard when you buy the game you can claim back the price of the Creator.

Here's 2 that I created in a short amount of time using what limited items they gave. Unfortunately, each time I exit the creator these two creatures fail to show back up for editing. Spore seems very buggy in the way it handles creature files. I will be watching for the full game to come out, but I'm not paying $10 for a demo product (the full creator).

It also seems the Spore demo came with some sort of unwelcome security software that was bad enough to trigger a 'malicious software alert' on my development machine so it had to be installed on an alternate. It looks like a brand new version of Securom, which is a shame because this was a deal-breaker when it came to Mass Effect and Bio Shock (both games I want, but won't buy while they have that protection scheme).

Yes, you can try and reclaim your money, but you have to do so at the local stores, not EA themselves. Good luck with that.

WOW ZJBDragon, you really made some good dragons must better then i can do hehe. The Blue dragon looks really cool

But yeah the SCC is abit buggy. Also if you make a 2 headed creature with a head in front and back. Everything on the back side will work really weird and act as it was forward.

Heres one i was fooling with and when it hits, the "back" of the creature will hide his arm into the body since it will hit forward.

Brilliant bit of fun this creator.

Also the reason why the creatures fail to show up is the server is down... so I guess you can't see yours either. They'll fix it when its supposed to come out...

Dont get me wrong im not against sexual stuff in games, just that, that one made me feel bad for some reason. I hope it wont just download alot of creatures from the spore database to fill out the universe, and when i visit every planet ill see penises and vaginas all over the place.
That just doesn't feel appropriate to me. Sure a image of it can be funny but not in the game itself, and if i wanna see that stuff ill go somewhere else
