What would be an interesting test is to make a benchmark save game which has the maximum number of units that is still playable either doing simple movement orders or a battle.

Then we can see if beta 4 and beyond does any better at handling large fleets.

and no wonder the game breaks, that makes even miniscule calculation errors a huge issue.

ps: your computer is moving so slow at this point I doubt its 40x10^6 calculations per second, just check your framerate.

My comp aint moving slow, the game is because of the single CPU limitation. Also its a CPU thing cause if i pause it i get around the 5fps or so that alone indicates its a CPU that is limiting the GPU from doing more calculation cause if cant get its work load thru the CPU. If it really was the GPU the framerates would be low no matter what
